The thing is...
WE ARE GLORIOUS.

Yes, I do deep trauma healing via Inquiry Meditation...but I call my work The Gospel of Pleasure for a reason.

In IM, pleasure--good feeling in the body--takes the form of compassion, interest, and kindness toward our pain.

And when women apply pleasure in the gently sensual sense, it doesn’t just feel good: it awakens healing, empowerment, and aliveness in us at every level.

If it's been too long (or never): You are not alone!

Women are, on the whole, in a severe pleasure deficit–and yep, pleasure is indeed a nutrient vital to our wellbeing–perhaps the most vital nutrient of all!

A woman well-resourced in her pleasure--a woman who can access good feeling in her body--is a woman steeped in her own vitality, vibrance, and power.

Get your boost by joining us for Pleasure at The Lola, a monthly in-person salon!

Not only will we talk All Things Pleasure...

We will practice together!

Because pleasure is indeed a practice, and one best done in likeminded company!

Connect joyously with other women–and yourself–within a one-of-a-kind container dedicated solely to the most fun (and healing) topic on the planet: our pleasure!

November's theme: Possibility

At our first gathering, we began with your glory.

This month, we go one layer deeper: into possibility.

For before a woman can inhabit her brilliance and claim her wildest desires, she must first allow herself to believe they are even available to her.

Together, with some dialogue and talking/discussion-based exercises, we’ll gently open that door: to the possibility of our glory, our pleasure, our power, and all that becomes possible when we say yes to all of who we are.

We begin, always with your glory.

During our inaugural meeting, we made The Case for Your Glory. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

From there, we decided that that was our new standard for all our meetings.

Every meeting, like that one, is gonna be a deeply restorative, irreverent, and fun time.

So:

Move that meeting.

Get a babysitter.

This is a different kind of you time. â€‹

When a group of women gather in the name of pleasure...

Well, let's just say:

Things happen.

Glory happens.

Come get yours!

Pleasure at The Lola FAQ's

If you do trauma work, why do you also host meetings about pleasure?

Great question! I call my work The Gospel of Pleasure because pleasure--what I define as good feeling in the body--heals at all levels.

In the trauma work I do via Inquiry Meditation, pleasure takes the form of compassion, interest, and kindness toward our pain.

In terms of women's vitality, pleasure takes the form of studying and practicing what lights us up--and it can change so much for us.

The effect is amplified when we practice together!

How "hands-on" is this meeting? I'm asking because you referenced practicing.

Such a helpful question!

Yes, we may do exercises, but they'll be talking/discussion-based exercises. Participation at your pace--gently, gently--is the name of this game.

And just to be clear, because it is a fair thing to wonder: while we will talk about pleasure in terms of overall vitality and sensuality as well, our practice is based in dialogue and discussion.

I want to explore sensuality in this container as you describe it above, but I carry sexual trauma.

Many of us carry sexual trauma, so you are not alone.

Everything here is designed for gentle participation, at your pace.

Pleasure at The Lola is asafe space within which women can explore pleasure--what lights them up--to whatever degree feels most delightful for them, and we are happy to have you exactly where you are, as you are.

Why in person?

There's nothing like being in the physical presence of other women who are doing something that will enlarge themselves--and pleasure enlarges, and transforms, women like nothing else.

It's a synergistic effect.

Come see for yourself!

Do I have to dress up?

We'll take you as you are! Just show up!

I have to miss the next meeting. Can I be notified of upcoming meetings?

Yes!

Sign up here to be notified  about upcoming meetings--no spam, just a notification:).

Can nonbinary people and transgender women attend?

Fuck yes.
