Full IM Sessions
Once you've completed your IM Experience, you are ready for full sessions.
​
​​​​Full IM sessions are deep-healing somatic journeys that are as profound as they are gentle. ​
​
The direct and concentrated nature of the work enables many meditators to experience lasting trauma resolution in months rather than years and years.
​​
Full Inquiry Meditation sessions last either 50 or 90 minutes.
​

Which level of practice is for me?​
​
The original 90-minute session format allows many clients the space and slowness needed to truly untangle, soften, and release the roots of deeply imprinted patterns, triggers, and traumas.
​
Some people, however, progess futher with shorter sessions, and the 50-minute format better serves them.
​​​
Interestingly, the session length that is best for you comes down to your bodily processing--not your level of experience with somatic work.
And so, we will have a sense of what will work best for your body after your IM Experience. ​

​Inquiry Meditation provides the most satisfying and consistent progress at the full-session (50 or 90-min) level of practice.
​​​
For those, though, who want to practice IM but have scheduling or financial constraints: I also offer 30-min express sessions.
Obviously, we cannot do in 30 min all that we could in a full session.
But this level of the practice does yield a complete experience and significant relief. ​
​
Full-session meditators also can purchase a single express session when a quick between-session tune-up would be hepful.

Breakthroughs in every session
Breakthroughs do occur in every session.

Each breakthrough is immediately felt...and is so very loving and soft.
This is because we integrate as we go along during sessions, which accounts for much of the session length, so that post-session integration--which is hugely important and where the "in real life" growth happens--is smooth and feels good.

My focus during sessions is ensuring that each shift happens to the exact degree of each meditator's bodily readiness. ​​​​​​​​

I began not being able to even internally identify with any of my emotions or feelings, not even knowing when my body was “talking to me”. I was chronically in my head, and had the issues of trying to fix myself or intellectualize my emotions, instead of experience them.
Now I’m at a place where my body talks to me all the time, and I’m way more comfortable experiencing myself instead of trying to make sense of me. Lol. I can now identify when my body is saying yes, or no. I can now notice when pain/ or sadness from triggers are sitting in my body waiting to be seen.
I can also now nurture, soothe and give space to those more vulnerable parts of me when they need to be seen.
I most of all now can identify with the pleasure that comes at the end of noticing these different parts of me. It’s such rewarding work, and while I have some ways to go, I’m very excited with all the insights I’ve gotten from Inquiry Meditation and Leslie’s pleasure-based approach.”
