The thing is...
WE ARE GLORIOUS.

Long before I began working explicitly with trauma, I learned through my sensuality training that pleasure is the healing force of the universe: the natural impulse toward wholeness, the feeling tone of aliveness itself.

And so, we turn now toward pleasure in its most luscious expression.

For when we as women engage pleasure in a gently sensual way, it doesn’t just feel good: it awakens healing, empowerment, and aliveness in us at every level.

This January, we're exploring that together — weekly.

The Lola Women's Co-Working Space: 621 North Avenue NE D-100, Atlanta, GA 30308

Dear Woman...

Do you regularly and routinely experience yourself as...

Luminous? (Yes, LUMINOUS!)
Alive?
Grounded?
Radiant?
Lit up from the inside out?

If it's been too long (or never): You are not alone!

Women are, on the whole, in a severe pleasure deficit–and yep, pleasure is indeed a nutrient vital to our wellbeing–perhaps the most vital nutrient of all!

A woman well-resourced in her pleasure--a woman who can access good feeling in her body--is a woman steeped in her own vitality, vibrance, and power.

This four-week series is an invitation to begin replenishing that resource — gently, joyfully, and in great company.

What we’ll be doing together

Diverse Women Smiling

Pleasure at The Lola: The Series builds on the spirit of the monthly salons, offering more continuity, intimacy, and depth through weekly rhythm.

Each gathering will include:

  • time to arrive and land in your body

  • a short, grounding reading from Pussy: A Reclamation — a bold, poetic invitation by my mentor Regena Thomashauer, with whom I completed advanced, long-form study — and other texts (books, poetry, film, interviews, etc) that gorgeously reconnect woman and pleasure

  • lively dialogue

  • gentle, powerful, and FUN pleasure practice!

  • space to digest what’s been stirred

Not only will we talk about pleasure…

We will practice together.

And if you’ve been searching to connect with other women in a nurturing space where laughter meets depth and fun makes room for honest, soul-level conversation: you’ll feel right at home.

Week 1 (Jan 21): Rapture

Week 2 (Jan 28): Desire and our desires

Week 3 (Feb 4): Sensual Pleasure

Week 4 (Feb 11): Re-Wilding

We begin, always, with your glory.

Smiling Woman Posing

In our earliest gatherings, we made The Case for Your Glory. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

That remains our standard.

This series is designed to be:

  • deeply restorative

  • lightly irreverent

  • grounded, fun, and surprisingly powerful

So:

Move that meeting.
Leave work early.
Let this be a different kind of you time.

Because when women gather weekly in the name of pleasure...

Things happen.
Momentum happens.
Glory happens.

Come dance a little with your own aliveness.
If it feels good, know this is just the beginning — more cycles are waiting in the wings.

No registration needed — just come. Open to Lola members and their guests.

Pleasure at The Lola FAQ's

If you do trauma work, why do you also host meetings about pleasure?

Great question! I call my work The Gospel of Pleasure because pleasure--what I define as good feeling in the body--heals at all levels.

In the trauma work I do via Inquiry Meditation, pleasure takes the form of compassion, interest, and kindness toward our pain.

In terms of women's vitality, pleasure takes the form of studying and practicing what lights us up--and it can change so much for us.

The effect is amplified when we practice together!

How "hands-on" is this series?

All practices are conversation- and inquiry-based. Participation is always at your own pace — gently, gently. There is no physical touch or explicit sexual practice.

I carry sexual trauma. Is this space for me?
Many women do. Everything here is designed to be trauma-informed, spacious, and choice-filled. You are welcome exactly as you are.

Why in person?
Because there’s nothing like being in the physical presence of other women who are choosing to enlarge themselves. Pleasure is synergistic. Come see.

Do I need the book we'll be reading from?

Not necessary! The reading will be provided.

Do I have to dress up?
Nope! Come as you are.

Can nonbinary people and transgender women attend?
Fuck yes.
